Celebrating Two Years of Empowerment
Over the last two years, we've dedicated the WAA Podcast platform to help amplify the voices of determined individuals who have played a crucial role in shaping the identity of Berlin and beyond and to broadcast inspirational stories of professionalism and strength.
To mark this monumental milestone we thought what better way than to celebrate over not one, but two, special birthday events.
The first celebration took place on Wednesday 1 March 2023, at the luscious location of FvF Friends Space, with what some would call a Berghin-esque line to get in!
It was here that WAA Podcast founder, Daria Suvorova, invited five incredible women to join her in a panel discussion, featuring Chanyu Xu, Founder of Her One, Laura Simonow, Founder of This Place, Friederike Trudzinski, Editor-in-Chief at Emotion Magazine, multimedia artist Johanna Keimeyer and Andrea Fernadez, Co-Founder of Vitamin.
In front of over 200 guests, the conversation flowed from speaking about the importance of financial independence and all the risks (and rewards!) that comes with it, to how to transform a passion project into so much more, and why you should always listen to your intuition and follow your gut.

With the good vibes flowing in abundance and electric enthusiasm in the air, guests tucked into tasty finger food from Ulala Chef and sipped on delicious wines from Nature’s Calling, whilst sharing their own personal stories about success and enjoying the opportunity to network with like-minded women from diverse careers and backgrounds.
