Your Inspiring Call to Action with Hila Limar

We’re excited to announce that we recently celebrated a milestone by hosting our first live WAA Podcast in Hamburg at Eeden Hamburg!

The energy in the room was electric as Hila Limar, co-founder of Afghan-German jewelry brand Sevar Studios and chairwoman of Visions for Children e.V., shared her story with a captivated audience in the stunning design setting of Hamburg's most stylish community space.

Sharing her personal journey, Hila expressed her belief that education can be a catalyst for sustainable social progress, a belief that is reflected in her initiatives in Afghanistan and Uganda through Visions for Children.

Together with her sister Wana Limar, Hila co-founded SEVAR Studios, a social enterprise dedicated to fair-trade jewelry that honors Afghan artisanal heritage and reinvests its profits into a goldsmith training program for women and girls in Afghanistan.

“Find something that you’re good at and do good for others with it.”

Hearing Hila speak about her mission was an inspiring call to action, urging everyone to embrace kindness, empower the less privileged, and recognize the power of collaboration for meaningful change.

But that wasn't all the evening had to offer! The event also marked the launch of our exciting new podcast series in partnership with the White Label Project. Together, we're embarking on a journey to highlight female entrepreneurs, creatives and change-makers from around the world, with special episodes focusing on impact-driven stories from women leaders around the world.
